Name: Nathan (Nate) Arazel
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Sexuality: Gay
Body Age: 15
Age: 17
Personality:
He does appreciate common beauty a little more than most, but he is not really the type to share it with others or stop an admire it. Unless you knew him extremely well you'd never even assume that he was gay except if he were to tell you, and by the time you got to knowing enough he most likely would have told you already. As it seems that most like himself do not, he doesn't dress, speak, or act like the opposite sex in any way, though there are times he has accused himself of thinking femininely. For which he blames his best friend, Jessica Kelly, whom he spent the majority of his childhood with. When growing up with mainly female friends and relatives in your life you can end up thinking like a girl; though it surely isn't what made him gay, as he is dead set on the fact that he was born that way and has to live with it, which he is quite willing to. He doesn't dislike his sexuality, in fact it would be fair to say that he loves it, it's the affects that it sometimes has on his family and those he meets that he dislikes.
For the most part Nathan tries to be as respectful and trustworthy as possible to anyone and everyone he meets, including enemies. He is always telling himself 'you don't have to like them, you just have to respect them' when he feels like getting out of hand though his parents would disagree. He is very demanding as a person, and though he tries to be mild, he has many more expectations of a boyfriend, or just a friend than most probably should. For instance he likes to make all the calls, whether sex will be a part of a relationship, whether or not one of his friends should be friends with someone else. He's a bit over reactive, but then again I'm sure that was already assumed, since I said before he has a slightly female mind. He does succeed in being respectful to those whom he doesn't know well or doesn't like very much, but his biggest problem is his friends which is why he has lost so many.
Nathan makes a not to refrain from showing hate to someone, as he has made the decision that it only causes problems anyway. But in that he has developed a bigger problem, for those who know him also know that you could know him and talk to him, hang out with him for years and never know what he thought about you, never known whether he liked you or not. It was in his list of morals to at least attempt to love, and show love to everyone he meets. He has a big heart but doesn't know how to use it, mostly because he has never had anyone to show him. A lot of the time he's too fixed on impressing and gaining more respect from his family to really do anything constructive he's very good at cutting himself down. He's a sweet kid, but hasn't found anyone he can truly show any emotion too.

Appearance:
Nathan is very picky about what he wears and most of what he dresses himself with or puts on his body has some use other than appearance. He likes the colors black, dark grey, white, and green for shirts and jackets, and as for below the waste, he sticks to loosely fitting black jeans and white tennis shoes.
Due to the fact that nearly every combination of clothes he has would go together well, his upper and lower body almost always match well as far as clothing goes. He looks good in a suit, so they say. but finds them very uncomfortable and you won't often find him wearing one without good reason. He buys his shirts only if they hang down only slightly past the rim of his pants, which come up to just barely below his waste. He prefers that the bottoms of his pants not be completely flared but overlapping and resting on his shoes a bit. He likes simple things, and most of his things are solid colors. All his life he's worn mostly or pure white shoes, something he doesn't intend to change very soon.
Nathan wears a necklace around his neck that was given to him by his older sister after she moved out. It's very simple, just a leather strap with a silver coin on the end of it resembling a quarter, but one with the date 1781, the year of the Revolutionary War's end. The lower part of his face is shadowed by many dark brown hairs that are beginning to form a beard, though very slow going at that. His hair is very dark brown, appearing black depending on the light source, he usually lets it hang in front of one or the other of his eyes. He has two piercings in his bottom lip, one on the left side, and one on the right.
His eyes are a dull almost greenish blue and shaped like two uneven rhombuses on either side of his nose pointing inward. His eyelashes are somewhat long for his gender but not as noticeable as some, not as if he has used mascara. His skin is tan all over, but his arms and chest seem to be the darkest places, most affected by the sun. His nose doesn't point straight out, and more up them down, but not to an extreme extent.
Nathan has a very average build he's only muscular enough for it to only be noticed while he is shirtless. Throughout his lifetime he's picked up many nicknames due to his height, things like small fry, shorty, shrimp. This alone is enough to make someone assume he is not what you would call large, which he isn't. Nathan is roughly 5ft 1" from head to toe, and of course is still growing. Most of the 122 pounds he holds is muscle or water, at least from what is visible. Due to the time he spends on the track he doesn't have much time or room for body fat, and barely any is really visible.
History:
It was only natural that Nathan liked men, he was terribly afraid of women due to the fact that every one in his life had hurt him in some way. His mother used to call him anything but his name, things such as ‘rodent’ and ‘wench’ and ‘slut.’ He didn’t know what a wench was, but he knew it couldn’t have been good. Her relationship with him was not an average mother son relation ship, she was always touching him, and rarely let him dress himself. She would violate him and if he did anything to protest, she would hurt him. His sister wasn’t quite as bad, but she seemed to enjoy kicking the living daylights out of him. His father was hardly ever home, but when he was, he was at least a father. He wasn’t afraid of woman, but he didn’t have any patience for them. After his sister died, and his dad picked up the same illness that took her, his mother left with all the family’s money. He and his dad were sent out on the streets and that’s where Randy found him.
He was fifteen years old when Randy took him in, it was after the war had ended. He had been so isolated from it that he hardly knew a war was going on. Randy kept him warm and got rid of his cold, letting him sleep in his own room in a nice warm bed. After about a week of living with the man, Randy asked him for a taste of his blood. Nathan was grateful to him, and offered his neck. Randy sucked him dry.
He has only been a vampire for two years, and he still lives with Randy in the same room, his only friend and the only person he really knows.
