Interaction Between Races
Characters are aloud to be discriminative against one or the other races. But however, it is advised that you have your characters follow the written laws of the United World. They are listen below:
1. A vampire may not take the life of a human being by sucking the blood from his neck without the victim's consent.
2. Punishment for crime against either race, human, or vampire must be the same no matter which against the offense has been taken.
3. Human is not favored over vampire in public, nor vampire over human.
4. If a human being and a vampire conceive a child together, it must be killed upon leaving the womb. Half-breeds may only breed with others of their kind as well. However, so long as there is no child birth involved the two races may keep any relationships they please.
5. Public buildings will not segregate between the two races, no exceptions.
6. All races qualify for the same opportunities at a good future. Business owners will not discriminate and/or refuse to hire a person because of his or her race.
--However, everyone breaks the law sometimes, but it's better if you don't make a habit of it. You will be pursued by men of the law and most likely caught if you continue time and time again to disobey these rules.
Once Bitten...
If your human/half-breed character is bitten by a vampire and has become one himself, you must change the character's species in their profile.
New vampires aren't always very stable with the world, so even if they happen to have been bitten without consent, it's best to stay with an older vampire as a mentor until you find your feet.
The vampire that bites you is considered your maker, and to not be at least respectful to that person is considered a great dishonor. Unless of course they did not have permission to bite your character.
Vampires may not go around sinking their teeth into other character's necks. Even if they are content on breaking the law, it is power playing, the owner of the character has to have some say in what happens to them. But they may not power play either, even if you don't want your character to be a vampire, if they're in a pickle with a pair of sharp teeth you cannot power play them out of it.
Half-Breeds
Night and day Half-breeds have the same personalities, but they may only take lives at night.
They are not effected by the sun, garlic, and are seen in a mirror. Crosses and Holy water will effect them painfully, but not as dramatically as a full vampire.
Half-breeds can be killed as easily as a human being.
Fighting
Play it how you wish, but be realistic please. Again, just keep in mind that power playing is not allowed, and not only that but frowned upon, just don't do it.
Vampires usually have the upper hand in fighting in general. But in the end it really depends on the character itself. Vampires are more likely to use their fists and feet while humans seem to prefer swords and guns.
