Aelin was pretty silent through out the car ride, he kept his eyes in a blank stare straight at the road throughout the whole ride. He didn't even really acknowledge the fact that he was being a horrible host, but he was thinking. Thinking about any random thing that came to mind, trying to keep himself from thinking about certain subjects by thinking about others, there was no room for talking. Stepping onto the porch he wondered if the other had said something on the way there... he wouldn't have heard it.
He stepped out of the way simply so the vampire could get in out of the sun and he wouldn't have to move quickly, he wasn't in a mood to hurry himself. In short, he let the other go first.
His house was rather small, after all the UWSO didn't pay all that much, which is why anyone who worked for them really likes their job. His parents had to pay off half the money for it, after all his father was rich, but refused to give up a high amount of money to a man that he knew didn't like him; his son. It had two bedrooms, one of which he ended up using for storage, a kitchen, one bathroom and a living room with a television and a couch. He was always teased that his house looked like something from three hundred years in the past. He didn't have many high tech machines, not household anyway.

Kaius watched as the human got out from his transportation mobile and walked up to the front door of his home. Kaius did the same, and admired all of the different parts of the outside of him home. It was quaint, nice for just one person to be living there. Kaius did note that, from the outside, it looked like it would stay together much better than his dinky, run-down apartment. After admiring the craftsmanship of the door, he stepped inside and out of the sunlight, glad to be in the dark again.
The vampire took in all that was around him. It was a small apartment, but the type that you would see a small family living in. It had a kind feel to it, he thought, and would be a nice house to wake up to, for that matter. Kaius complimented Aelin on the house as he waltzed further into the said home, telling him that it was worth bragging over, and that he wouldn’t mind staying here for a while. He winked at Aelin and sat down on the couch, picking up books and papers to see what was underneath.
“Well,” Kaius started as he leaned back into the chair, kicking his shoes off and unbuttoning the first few buttons of his shirt to get comfortable. “This is a very nice house, I have to say, again.” The vampire’s eyes flicked up towards the humans and he smiled. “Where’s the bedroom?” he asked. “If I’m going to be staying over, I need to know where to sleep.”

"You think so?" Aelin shrugged, standing in the middle of the living room, looking around. He hadn't been there in months actually, everything was set just the way he'd left it, a bit dusty though. He made note to do assign himself clean-up duty when he didn't have a guest.
“Where’s the bedroom? If I’m going to be staying over, I need to know where to sleep.”
Aelin fell a bit pale, almost every other sentence that left the vampire's mouth seemed to have a similar effect. "There's technically only one that has a bed in it..." He paused. "Which is mine, it's right over there..." He pointed to a closed door which stood right at the beginning of a small hallway as his voice trailed off He was trying so carefully to make sure that he didn't sound like he was suggesting anything, after all he barely knew the guy. "But it's king sized," Was that the right thing to say? Hell no.
"Anyway, do you want anything to drink..." He stopped himself there. Oh, nice going smartass, forget he's a vampire already? "Oh wait, never mind," It was the only way he could think to catch himself. "But uh... make yourself at home then," He fell sat down on the opposite side of the couch quickly, leaning back and began subconsciously chewing his fingernail. The way things were going already figured a possibility of scaring the guy away with his stuttering and absent-mindedness.

Kaius turned his gaze to the small hallway and toward a door that was deep in the courses of the said hallway. A king-sized bed? Nice, very nice. This human may not be able to buy a bigger home, but he sure decks out the current one he had. Oh how Kaius hoped he had silk sheets. He loved silk and they were the best to . . . um . . . cuddle up in. Not that he was going to try and cuddle up with him this quick in the day, but he was sure as hell going to try. Why else would he have come? Other than having to get away from the sun that was now just over the horizon? Well, he was there to do what any sexy vampire would do.
Sighing, the vampire stood up and walked over to Aelin, swaying his hips as he did. He knew the human couldn’t resist, and that wasn’t just his pride talking. No one could resist him. At least, no male could resist him. He was beautiful and sexy. No man could offer up the chance to be with him for something else. At least, that’s what he told himself time and time again.
He smiled and pulled Aelin into a hug, leaning his head on the man’s shoulder. “You must be tired . . . ” he said, snuggling into the embrace. It wasn’t his idea of flirting, or trying to get Aelin to bed, but he was getting a bit tired and didn’t want to scare the UWSO soldier into kicking him out. No, he would end up being fried chicken by the time he even got halfway to his house. He didn’t want that.
